  My answer may sound extraordinary, but I have to say that my favourite weather is thunderstorm. Though it seems to be an unusual weather to experience, I have encountered it for dozens of times in my life. Among all these thunderstorms, most of them happened by the seaside or in the mountains.

  Normally I just hide under a roof by the road to appreciate the pouring rain and let the gale blow onto my body.When the wind blusters,I feel like flying high in the sky,through all the clouds and skyscrapers.Sometimes,if I am careless enough,my ecstasy may lure me to step into the rain curtain,with nothing but my clothes to protect me.I still remember once when I was a high school student,I ran into a small pond on the lawn in my school. With a violent storm happening in the sky, I burst into laughter and was wet like a drowned rat. Oh, that is so unforgettable.

  Besides,as you can see,thunderstorm is not just about storm.Thunder and lightning play important roles as well.I find lightning that strikes straight to the ground especially splendid. Occasionally,the white flash brings with it a veil of purple, which creates a feeling of mystery. Still,the smell during and after the storm fascinates me profoundly, which is the nitric oxide produced by the lightning.It is said that the gas can relax your blood vessels.Maybe that is the reason why I always find the atmosphere after the thunderstorm so restful.

  Even though I love thunderstorm, I do not wish for its frequent company, for it really drenches everything.
