  At twenty-three, I was forced to make the hardest decision I have ever faced. It came at a time when I had just established a comfortable life for myself, surrounded by friends in London. I had learned enough over the past six months to feel comfortable in my relatively new line of work, and was making the most of the perks that came with it.

  The choice came when I was offered a more interesting job that was more in line with my dreams and ambitions, but paid far less than the job I already had. I knew that if I took the job, I would have to move far, far away from my family and friends and I would have to undertake special training in order to do the job.

  I considered saying no to the job. I really did. But I wanted with all my heart to say yes. I had trouble though, because I felt like my heart would break with all the things that I had to leave behind. After talking to several close friends and members of my family, I decided to take the job and do everything that was required of me, including moving half way around the world to do the job. I resolved to say goodbye to all my friends and family, not knowing when I would see them again. But I had decided on the course of adventure, so I knew I couldn't be wrong.
