  The application that I usually use on my phone is a dictionary published by Microsoft,called Bing. It is a very powerful tool,integrating various functions like voice recognition,translation,and AI English courses for different levels of students.

  I downloaded it about three months ago,when I started preparing the IELTS exam.There were so many new words in reading passages,and quite often,I could not find the appropriate words and phrases to express my thought.This article is from Laokaoya website.So I desperately needed a good dictionary to help me.

  Before I found Bing,I had tried many other electronic dictionaries published by Chinese companies and some are even more functional than it.But all of them share one feature that I could not put up with,a lot of ads.They were literally everywhere.When I opened the app,I was forced to watch a piece of ad lasting for about 5 seconds.That was OK.I understood these companies needed profits to survive.But they really crossed the line for deliberately mixing ads with useful contents and not labelling them.Every tap was a surprise.You never knew what would pop up.So I kept digging and finally found Bing,an ad-free application,which perfectly satisfies my needs.

  I really love it.The new word list enables me to add vocabulary I do not know and constantly review them,and the AI courses help me learn useful expressions and correct my pronunciation.Without it,my journey of IELTS preparation would be much tougher.
