  最近，有同學(xué)問了我這樣一道題“Describe a gift you would like to buy for your friend”，這道題讓我想起了我一個(gè)非常好的朋友，他的工作很忙，經(jīng)常會(huì)把手機(jī)跟電腦用到電量耗盡。因?yàn)檫@個(gè)原因，我經(jīng)常碰到“給他發(fā)消息后，好幾天收不到他的回復(fù)”這種情況。因此，我打算精心挑選一個(gè)充電器給他，這樣，他就沒有理由不回復(fù)我消息了吧?

  如果能有這樣一個(gè)便攜式的充電器，無論什么型號(hào)的手機(jī)和電腦都能用，那真是太方便了。如果有哪家科技公司生產(chǎn)出這樣的產(chǎn)品，我想，我應(yīng)該會(huì)是第一批消費(fèi)者吧!

  I have this friend and he is always busy with his work. I think he is a freelance, independent tax accountant. Every time we go out for coffee, he is always working either on his phone or his laptop. And he constantly complains about his devices being low on battery and how low quality those products are.

  So my idea is to buy him a portable charger, or some people call it a power bank which is basically a reusable battery that's small enough to fit in your hand. It connects to any input and output source, allowing you to charge different devices such as a smartphone or a laptop, from almost anywhere without the need for a wall outlet.

  The reason I want to buy a gift for him is because we have known each other since middle school and he had always remembered my birthday every year. He gives me a gift every year on my birthday but I always forget his. He is a very smart guy but sometimes not very punctual or I would say a little irresponsible. He will go on days without replying my messages and then when we meet, he will say his phone is out of juice. So if I can get him this gift, he won’t have that excuse anymore.
