  The person I am going to tell you about is Xiaoming,a young adult living in the opposite building. He prefers to dress in white clothes and is pretty slim and handsome.At 21 years old,he is now doing a bachelor's degree at Renmin University of China,one of the most prestigious universities in our country.

  Although we live in the same community and are of similar ages,we barely knew each other until last summer when we both signed up as volunteers to contribute our own effort to contain the spread of Covid-19.This article is from Laokaoya website. Our job involved standing at the entrance of our community to check the guests’health code and urge them to put on their masks.This article is from Laokoaya website.It was tedious,exhausting,but meaningful. Since we were assigned to the same shift, we soon became familiar.

  Back then,the only thing we could do was chat.We introduced our majors,universities,and hobbies,complained about the uncooperative attitude of some individuals,and imagined the happy life after the coronavirus.When our shift was over, we would play Wangzherongyao together, a cellphone game where you teamed up with others to defend the base.

  I am interested in him because we share the same sense of duty towards our society. We both believe that every citizen needs to stand up and make a concerted effort to put an end to the pandemic. And instead of being an armchair critic, we have taken concrete actions.
