  The outdoor activity that I like doing is swimming. I go swimming during the summer, and I normally swim twice or thrice a week. Since I live in coastal city, I sometimes swim in the sea. For safety reason, most of time I swim in the outdoor swimming pool. However, I would more prefer to go to seaside to swim.

  I start to learn swimming since 8 years old, the reason I learn swimming is my parents considered that swimming is beneflcial to my health, since I was easy to catch cold when I was young. Moreover, I can also protect myself from drowning (溺水). There are several reasons that I like to swim.

  Firstly, without overworking the heart, swimming improves the body’s use of oxygen (氧氣)and increases lung function. Everything sounded really difficult for a young teenager. However, at last I succeeded. My parents always tell me how to get along and communicate with others.
