The activity I enjoy doing with my grandfather is playing Xiangqi, which is also known as Chinese chess. It is a strategy board game for two players and represents a battle between two armies. The person who captures his enemy's general is the winner. It is a bit like the chess, but with different rules.
I play this game with my grandpa every weekend. He lives in the village, 6 miles from where I live. Every Saturday, my father and I pay him a visit, bring some food and check if there is anything he needs. He is a big fan of Chinese chess. He has a huge collection of chess manuals and never misses a broadcast of the chess match. Every afternoon, he takes a walk and tries to find someone to play with him, and if he did not succeed, he would play the game by himself.
Since I was a little kid, he has taught me how to play. But until now, I have never won a single game. This may sound a little depressing. But actually, I quite enjoy it, because I always learn something and it is a good way to cultivate my thinking habit. Besides, I like the feeling to share the same interest with my grandpa.
