Some people say that the main environmental problem of our time is the loss of particular species of plants and animals. Others say that there are more important environmental problems. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
應對上面這個題目，學生在正文寫了如下一句話：
However, it is the rule of Nature, which means that those who fail to adapt to the changing environment will disappear, and in one word, they are vulnerable in nature.
※ 觀感上來說，句子后半部分which/that/who幾個從句過分堆砌;
※ 兩個賓語從句并列時：that those who fail to adapt to the changing environment will disappear和that in one word, they are vulnerable in nature，只有第一個that可以刪，學生不巧刪錯了;
※ 多余信息：and 之后的內容，其實已經在重復前文了，不如不要;
※ vulnerable形容詞修飾they的時候，本身就是在表示“they”的“nature or character”，那么in nature也是多此一舉了。
正巧，官方給過范文，其中有這樣一句：
Survival of the fittest is nature’s way of ruthlessly allowing weaker specimens to die out, although mankind has also contributed to falling animal numbers through hunting and poaching.
解析：
※ 措辭相當簡潔：學生長長的一句話可以濃縮成—— survival of the fittest名詞短語、allowing weaker specimens to die out動名詞短語
※ 副詞的點綴讓句子生動起來：ruthlessly
※ 小詞的妙用：allow, fall
