這類的題目考查的是考生對SAT閱讀文本基調和作者態度的理解。通常理解assumption/tone非常重要的一點就是看形容詞的使用，因為形容詞可以表達人的心情，心態和觀點。比如：It is beautiful.也許表達的并不一定是個事實，而是一種態度和觀點。

  The following is adapted from a speech given by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1953. Eisenhower was addressing the General Assembly of the United Nations.

  I feel impelled to speak today in a language that in a

  The atomic age has moved forward at such a pace that

  every citizen of the world should have some comprehension,
