  【柱圖/條狀圖】，一定可以【轉化】為【表格】，如下：

  但是，【柱圖/條狀圖】的表現【優勢】在于【直觀】。

  【開頭段】通常兩句話：

  1. Shown in the pair of bar chart are the four destinations of UK graduates and postgraduates except full-time employment, and the year of 2008 is taken a look at.

  2. Overall, students’ preference varied to a notable extent within each group of students, and there is a striking similarity between the two groups.

   第一句話：說明【圖的主題】。and前為完全倒裝，正常語序是：XXX are shown in the…。同時注意，題目中給出的時間狀語，可以在轉述時拆開，寫成單獨一句。同理，有的題目，不拆時間狀語，而是拆地點狀語寫成單獨一句。

   第二句話：寫對于圖中數據的【宏觀綜述】。

  【主體部分第一段】寫上圖與下圖的中間兩根柱子(從而形成對比關系)：

  1. Among graduates, voluntary work was the least desirable choice, with only 3,500 students choosing it.

  2. By stark contrast, the number of students who chose to pursue a further degree was up to almost 30,000.

  3. Likewise, this marked contrast could also be found among postgraduates.

  4. Voluntary work was chosen by merely 345 students, compared sharply with more than 2,700 students choosing further study.

   注意下劃線的部分：1)豐富句子主語;2)【伴隨狀語】的使用，來補充說明一些信息。

   第一句話：with引導的獨立主格，動詞和主語是主動關系，直接改為v.ing即可。

   第二句話：注意寫XXX is XXX 的句子時，一定要檢查，主語和表語是否是“是”的關系，比如：數字(the number)是30,000。

   第三句話：呈上啟下，說明研究生里也存在和本科生里一樣的差距大的情況。

  【主體部分第二段】寫上圖與下圖的外側兩根柱子：

  1. It is also noticeable that part-time employment was the second popular choice in both groups of students.

  2. It was the choice of roughly 18,000 graduates and more than 2,500 postgraduates.

  3. In addition, over 16,000 graduates were unemployed, and the number among postgraduates was 1,625.

   注意下劃線的部分：豐富句子主語。

   第一句話：it作形式主語的主語從句，指代that后面的從句。

   第二句話：it指代前文的part-time employment/ the second popular choice。

  【結尾段】通常一句話：

  1. In general, both the disparity and the similarity were apparent.

   重申對于圖中數據的【宏觀綜述】。
